Day trip to Boston, Massachusetts. Flew in early and were flying back in the evening. Just wanted to walk the Freedom Trail so we took the metro from the airport to Park Street Station, which is closest to Boston Common where the trail starts. Easy to navigate, quite a few interesting stops along the way. Would recommend getting a map or brochure, they have free ones you can get at the airport or print off from online. I thought Bunker Hill and USS Constitution were the most interesting parts. We then took public transportation over to Harvard University to walk around and get a bite to eat before heading back to the airport. I’m sure there’s a lot more to do in Boston, but it was an enjoyable way to see a new city and take in some important historical sites. Easy to get around with public transportation and walking.
